Working with vulnerable and traumatised children and families (2017)

This 19 credit qualification is aimed at adults experienced in working directly with children or young people who have or have aspirations to take on greater responsibility within their organisation.

This may be in working with more challenging groups of youngsters, or taking some line management responsibilities – for example mentoring induction programmes, running training sessions, leading groups working with parents

There is an expectation that learners will undertake research beyond that which is provided by the online courses and will have support to think strategically within their organization, and understand that each of the assignment points will require them to complete a short practical intervention leading to a reflective piece
