The Role of the Early Years SENCo
This 125 hours (TQT) certificate consists of 4 units of work:
- The roles and responsibilities of the Early Years SENCO
- Working with other professionals: supporting colleagues in their work
- SEND identification and early action
- Working with other professionals: liaising with agencies beyond the setting
These units provide underpinning knowledge and understanding in key topics relevant to Early Years SENCO’s. The content provides ample opportunities for learners to explore not only new theoretical understanding but to explore the implications for their work in practice.
