With 21 years of dedicated experience in the education sector, Alex brings a robust foundation of research-based knowledge and expertise in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Inclusion. As a qualified teacher and SENCo her career is underscored by a proven track record in promoting inclusive practices and fostering positive outcomes for all learners.

Alex’s academic journey includes a Masters (Hons) in Inclusive Education from Gloucestershire University, complemented by specialized qualifications such as the Senior Mental Health Lead certification and the NASENCO Award. Holding Qualified Teacher Status since 2015, she earned a BA (Hons) in Teacher Education & Psychology from Oxford Brookes University and completed coursework in Neurobiology and Behaviour in Children at Level 5 through the Open University.

Alex is driven by a commitment to evidence-based practice, through staying abreast of the latest research findings, continually refining her approach to better serve those in need. Her ultimate goal is to improve outcomes for vulnerable children and families, whether through direct intervention or by equipping practitioners with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed. In all her interactions, she strives to ensure that everyone she work with feels valued, heard, and confident in their abilities to effect positive change.
