Through our knowledge of trauma prevention and recovery, we promote resilience, recognising that healing and recovery from stress and trauma happen when we come together
In recent years we have seen increasing numbers of adults and children reporting symptoms of stress, overwhelm and anxiety, which are products of trauma. This increase across the population suggests that trauma is not just an individual issue, but something which is perhaps being experienced collectively across the country.
With many adults feeling anxious and dysregulated, the healing and recovery of children and young people requires the involvement of adults too. Children and young people need well-regulated adults to offer stabilisation for emotional wellbeing.
Our team of experienced practitioners turn science of trauma, attachment and resilience into practical learning tailored for you to improve health outcomes, enabling more people to have more good days.
Our models of practice
Five to Thrive

Brains grow when we do 5 simple things. Five to Thrive describes a sequence of relational activities that builds healthy brains.
Mending Hurts

Mending Hurts is the KCA model for promoting recovery from trauma by enabling people to notice what they, or other people, do in their most effective interactions with vulnerable and traumatised people.
Creating Connections

We know that healing and recovery happen best when we're part of a community - when we come together and build resilience. Creating connections focuses on trauma prevention and recovery, building capacity for self-healing communities.
Leadership Revolution

Leadership has always been complex, but more so now than ever. The context in which you lead is in constant flux and you are increasingly being required to navigate change and uncertainty. The Leadership Revolution helps you better understand recovery leadership and address stress arising from uncertainty
The normalising of trauma, is a wonderful perspective and something I will share with clients and colleagues.

It was really interesting and interactive. Usually online training days as difficult to hold concentration with. However, this course was brilliant and easy to remain interested it. It will be invaluable in my work with children and families.

I have attended courses like this one on a similar subject, but I can honestly say this one was straightforward and I came away with a good understanding, without feeling overwhelmed by too much information.
