We support charities and communities to build resilience, recognising that healing and recovery happens when we come together

Many of us do not seek healing or recovery through formal services. Often we rely on a circle of trustworthy people for help and support.

Recovery from stress and trauma requires others to provide co-regulation. Communities therefore have a central role to play in creating a culture of kindness and care. Children and young people in particular need well-regulated adults in their lives to offer stabilisation for emotional wellbeing. We promote community resilience, recognising that healing and recovery happens when we come together.

The power of community is underestimated. Community anchor organisations play a vital role in bringing residents together to build the social bonds that aid the recovery process.

We do more than training - we co-create projects with your community to have more good days together.

Our models of practice

Five to Thrive

Brains grow when we do 5 simple things. Five to Thrive describes a sequence of relational activities that builds healthy brains.

Mending Hurts

Mending Hurts is the KCA model for promoting recovery from trauma by enabling people to notice what they, or other people, do in their most effective interactions with vulnerable and traumatised people.

Creating Connections

We know that healing and recovery happen best when we're part of a community - when we come together and build resilience. Creating connections focuses on trauma prevention and recovery, building capacity for self-healing communities.

Leadership Revolution

Leadership has always been complex, but more so now than ever. The context in which you lead is in constant flux and you are increasingly being required to navigate change and uncertainty.
